Juniper Advisory Weighs In on Advocate NorthShore Partnership in Chicago Tribune
Juniper Advisory’s Jordan Shields was quoted in the Chicago Tribune article “Advocate Health Care and NorthShore to merge,” which announced the systems’ plans to consolidate and create a new 16-hospital, $6.8 billion revenue system. The combined system will be known as Advocate NorthShore Health Partners and will rank as the largest system in Illinois and the 11th largest nonprofit system in the country.
“This is a huge win for Advocate. It’s an incredible coup to lock up NorthShore. It’s a great market and it’s a great system,” stated Shields. “The deal is going to shake people. What this does is change the gravity in the metropolitan area.”
