Mercy Memorial Hospital System Examining Its Future

Juniper has been retained by Monroe, Michigan-based Mercy Memorial Hospital System to conduct a strategic study of the hospital’s future options to determine if it should remain independent, seek a partner, or merge with another system. Juniper is working closely with MMHS’s board of trustees and senior leadership team to explore and better understand the system’s long-term options in order to preserve high-quality health care for the Monroe community. MMHS’s board has decided to conduct this assessment from a strong financial position in order to maximize its decision-making capabilities as it looks toward the future.
