UChicago Medicine Grows with Ingalls Health System
The University of Chicago Medicine, one of the nation’s leading academic medical institutions, has acquired Ingalls Health System, an integrated community health system located in Harvey, a south suburb of Chicago. Ingalls will become part of UChicago Medicine’s growing health system.
Through the partnership, UChicago Medicine will invest in Ingalls’ network of inpatient and outpatient facilities and will accelerate the enhancement of critical IT systems. Ingalls will also gain access to UChicago Medicine’s world-class physicians, clinical programs and medical research resources.
